Finding a pie made completely from organic ingredients is so tricky, but, you are in luck. We have made our own range of organic pies, including this steak flavour – made from our organic beef diced stewing steak.
All of our beef animals are grass-fed and organic. They are all reared over 28 months to ensure they reach maturity naturally, developing excellent texture and a real depth of flavour. This definitely enhances the flavour of our pie fillings.
We hand make our organic pies in small batches, beginning by pressing our organic pastry (made with our own special recipe creating a short/puff pastry type) around foil moulds and stuffing them to the brim with our delicious organic beef filling, before topping it with a crimped pastry lid.
Our beef flavour filling is made by slow-cooking our diced stewing steak until it is buttery soft and melts in the mouth. We finish by reducing the jus from the beef in the pan to ensure you get a lovely splosh of gravy with every bite, that is rich and packs a punch of beefy flavour.

Cooking Instructions: We recommend thawing your pie and egg washing the lid before baking to ensure you get a beautiful golden and crispy pastry. Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes for perfect results.
