Beef and Vegetable Pasty

A delicious and traditional treat

Our beef and vegetable pasties are our take on a true West Country classic. Buttery puff pastry (not too thick, not too thin) is stuffed full of hearty beef mince along with chunky root veg and a good pinch of seasoning. The balance of meaty mince and almost-sweet root veg makes this a comforting bite to fill a lunchtime hole or enjoy as part of a substantial supper.

Product FAQs

  • We deliver our organic produce Tuesday – Saturday and you will be able to choose your preferred delivery day at checkout. The delivery charge is £3.95.

  • Freezing is the most natural way of preserving food. And as here at Coombe Farm Organic we believe in slow-grown, healthy food, a form of preservation that doesn’t need artificial additives gets a big tick from us.

We use blast freezing to preserve all of our meat products. It’s done as soon as our pies are made, to temperatures of -26°C. This locks in all the freshness, flavour and nutritional value and means you get the longest possible shelf life at home once you’ve defrosted it.

It also guarantees it will arrive with you in tiptop condition - confidently delivering fresh pies would be much more challenging.

  • At coombe farm organic we like to work with like-minded organic and/or sustainable producers to bring you delicious produce, our pie makers are just down the road from us, keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum

You will find any product ingredients on the relevant product pages.

    Can't Find the Answer?

If you cannot find the answer to your question and would like to speak to someone contact us and we will be happy to help.

Defrost your pasty then brush the pastry with egg or milk before popping it into the oven at 200°C (180°C fan). It'll take about 20 minutes for the filling to be piping hot and the pastry to be golden and crispy.
