Oh-so-slowly simmered to release delicious flavour
Carefully cooked for 24 hours by our friends at Borough Broth Co., this is the ultimate in chicken broth. Its taste is all natural and comes from organic chicken bones, not from artificial flavourings. In fact, nothing artificial is invited to this party at all. That means you can be reassured that it's a friend of your gut. The slowest-of-slow simmers means that the connective tissues and collagen in the bones melt away into the liquid, delivering an end result that packs a big punch of flavour.
You can use your broth as a base for any number of soups, stews, gravies and sauces. Or you can warm it through and sip it from a mug as the ultimate comfort-food treat. It's gluten-free, dairy-free and paleo-friendly so your tummy will be very pleased.
We freeze our broth immediately after cooking to preserve all the wholesomeness. When yours is delivered, you can keep it in the freezer for up to three months, or in the fridge for up to seven days. Once defrosted and opened, use within 24 hours. We recommend defrosting your broth in the fridge and placing it in a dish in case of small leakages.

At Coombe Farm we believe in sustainability. And we live it. Regarding our packaging:
Your delivery box is made of 100% recycled paper and is 100% recyclable.
To keep your order frozen we use ice packs which will retain a low temperature for a long period of time. Reuse them for a picnic or simply snip, empty the water and pop in your plastic recycling.
We use paper pulp sheets to insulate the box. They are great for craft projects or can also simply be recycled with paper waste.
We deliver our organic produce Tuesday – Saturday and you will be able to choose your preferred delivery day at checkout. The delivery charge is £3.95.
Freezing is the most natural way of preserving food. And as here at Coombe Farm Organic we believe in slow-grown, healthy food, a form of preservation that doesn’t need artificial additives gets a big tick from us.
The Borough Company use blast freezing to preserve all of their broth products. It’s done as soon as it is made, to temperatures of -26°C. This locks in all the freshness, flavour and nutritional value and means you get the longest possible shelf life at home once you’ve defrosted it.
It also guarantees it will arrive with you in tiptop condition - confidently delivering fresh broth would be much more challenging.
We recommend taking your pouch of broth out the freezer the day before you want to use it. Stand the pouch in a bowl in your fridge this will catch any leakages, (any leaked broth will be perfectly fine to consume). Once defrosted and unsealed you have seven days to use your broth and once opened please enjoy within 24 hours.
You will find any product ingredients on the relevant product pages.

Excellent packaging, arrived still frozen. Great taste.Excellent packaging, arrived still frozen. Great taste.
Very palatable product. Tasty & warming. I drink it as a soup - I just add some herbs and spices. If I don't buy it again, it will be because of the cost. But otherwise, great product & service.Very palatable product. Tasty & warming. I drink it as a soup - I just add some herbs and spices. If I don't buy it again, it will be because of the cost. So happy to be able to buy turkey all year round. Searched the web to find a source and was very pleased to find you. The minced turkey we have tried so far was excellent. Many thanks for the quick service.
The chicken bone broth is amazing. I wish I could say the same for the other items I bought. I didn't enjoy the bacon. It actually tasted a bit off and I threw the rest away. The turkey mince is good, but very, very expensive. I know it is impossible to do any other when you buy food online, but the amount of packaging needed to transport the items through the post really does put me off ordering again. If only I lived closer.
Order handled efficiently and arrived on time. Packaging of a high standard plus contents well wrapped in frozen ice packets plus extra blanket to ensure freshness.
Order included beef biltong packets but only of limited size/weight. Suggestion: Increase weight range rather than overpaying for small quantities! Delicious none the less!
