A funny flat spotted fellow and widely known all around the country. But often underrated as it is a very high quality fish with a delicious taste. Plaice is similar to Sole and easy to prepare with all different cooking methods. Best grilled in the oven as a whole fish with some lemon and/or orange zests (organic, please) and fresh herbs. Once cut into fillets you can have them battered or cut into smaller pieces as fish fingers. The most important thing is to never overcooked as it begins to lose taste when cooked for too long!
